LAKEHILL BOYS U-16 BC CHAMPIONS

(ISN) — The Lakehill Boys U-16 BC Champions all look Happy (and so they should).

The boys had a tremendous tournament beating some of the best team in BC without conceding a single goal throughout the whole tournament.

Coach Paul Cringle said it was a real TEAM effort from the solid goalkeeping, “the rocks that we had defending, the ball playing solid midfielders and are all action goal scoring attackers.”

REGISTRATION UNDER WAY FOR LAKEHILL SOCCER SEASON

Registration for the 2010-11 soccer season has begun at Lakehill Soccer for youngsters aged four to 18.

Players who register before June 6 can take advantage of the $40/player discount.

Lakehill offers a very successful minis program for u5-u8 that runs Saturday mornings at Braefoot Park and also particpates in the Lower Island Soccer u9-u18 divisions.

LAKEHILL SOCCER SEEKS U13 PLAYERS

Lakehill Soccer is interested in forming a second girls U13 silver team from their waiting list, but they need about six more girls.

Meanwhile registrations are being accepted for the 10th annual girls soccer tournament for the Lakehill Soccer Association.

The tournament is open for girls U12-U18. u12G (1998s) teams will play Super8 (8-a-side) format while all others will play full field.

Select teams will play up a division.

Organizers are hoping to have upwards of 42 teams or more in the tournament this year.

Each team will be guaranteed a minimum of three games and an opportunity to play a fourth game (i.e. the top two teams in each pool) for a Lakehill Girls Fall Classic Pool Championship!

The tournament is sanctioned by the BC Soccer Association and only BCSA, CSA and US Soccer sanctioned teams are invited to participate.
