VICTORIA HITMEN WIN THE PROVINCIAL CHAMPIONSHIP IN KAMLOOPS

The Victoria Hitmen are the new B.C. peewee football champions.

Led by player-of-the-game Gavin Cobb, the Hitmen easily mowed down the Prince George Icemen 46 – 13 in Kamloops.

The Hitmen are a nine-man Peewee football team (10 and 11 years).

They played an undefeated regular  season and played the Cloverdale Lynx in the semi-final last weekend to advance to the Provincial finals

Earlier the Hitmen wiped out the  Nanaimo Bombers for the Island championship.

Players include Dontae Bull, Andrew Abell, Bryce Downey, Isaiah Hunt,    Gavin Cobb, Jacob Arnaud, Quinn Jenish,  Jacob Pierik, Ben Pierik, Ryan Sartori,Oliver MacKenzie, Nick Pollock,  Gevhahn McNally Hardisty,  Jacob Laliberty, Declann Michielin, Brendan Bain,Jake Anderson,  Jordan Schutt and Seth Rogers.

HITMEN OFF TO SLAY PRINCE GEORGE IN FINALS

The Victoria Hitmen are in Kamloops for the Provincial Peewee Football Championship on Saturday, against Prince George.

The Hitmen won the semifinals 35-6 over the Cloverdale Lynx in South Delta last weekend.

Gavin Cobb had two TD’s, Jacob Pierik one TD, four two point converts and a field goal.

Earlier the Hitmen wiped out the  Nanaimo Bombers for the Island championship.
