Velox Valkyries 50 — UVic Vikes 23
The Velox Valkryies, loaded with veteran players and national team talent, handed the UVic Vikes a 50-23 loss in the opening game of the spring slate.
Sarah Logan scored two tries in the loss, and Erin Ryan also scored. Randi Hunter, a lock on Canada’s Under-20 squad, kicked a penalty and two conversions.
