VICTORIA REBELS END SEASON WITH 66-20 WIN OVER VANCOUVER TROJANS

Quarterback Yannick Rickli returned to the Rebels’ starting lineup and threw
for four first half touchdown passes, leading the Rebels to a 66-20 victory

over an injury riddled Vancouver Trojans squad.

Saturday night also marked the final regular season game of the 2009 BCFC for the now 6-4 Rebels.

With the victory the Rebels’ secured third place in the BCFC and will travel to South Surrey to take on the Rams in a league semi-final next Saturday Oct. 24 with kickoff taking place at 2 p.m. at the South Surrey Athletic Park.

Rickli’s favourite target Tyson Takasaki hauled in a pair of touchdown passes while Sam Adu ran for another two majors.

Also finding the endzone for the Rebels were Kyle Johnson, Chris McCormick, Mike Mizerski, Zack Brandham, and Justin Andrushko.
