November 9, 2013, VICTORIA (ISN) – The University of Victoria Vikes men's basketball team had a top-notch performance from both Terrell Evans and Chris McLaughlin to take a 74-55 victory over the Fraser Valley Cascades on Nov. 9 at McKinnon Gym. With the win the Vikes improve 4-0, while the Cascades drop to 2-2.

October 28, 2013, Fraser Valley (ISN) - The UBC Okanagan Heat women's team travelled to the Fraser Valley for its final preseason action of 2013-14, sparring with the University of Fraser Valley Cascades Friday afternoon and then the Trinity Western Spartans Saturday afternoon. The Heat would split the two games falling to the Cascades 72-56 on Friday, and slaying the Spartans 73-66 on Saturday.
