February 21, 2014, Saanich, BC (ISN) - The Lambrick Park Lions and the St. Michaels University School (SMUS) Blue Jags will battle it out Saturday night in the Vancouver Island Senior Boys High School AA Basketball Championship after both teams emerged victorious in their semi-final match-ups on Friday.

December 21, 2013, Victoria, BC (ISN) - The Vancouver College Fighting Irish defeated the Oak Bay Bays 53-31 in the Junior Championship final of the Gary Taylor Classic. The Irish were led by Sam Bailey (14pts) and Rysen John (13pts). Bays Grade 9 Jaden Touchie finished with a game high 17 points. ISN's Christian J. Douglas Rams have put their name in the record books, as they became the first team since 1998 to win three consecutive BC High School Football Varsity AAA Provincial Football Championships, thanks to an exciting 32-27 win over the Terry Fox Ravens at the Subway Bowl at BC Place Stadium in Vancouver on Saturday evening.
