December 2, 2013, VICTORIA (ISN) – A small contingent of University of Victoria Vikes cross-country members headed to Vancouver, B.C. to compete in the National Cross-country Championships, Nov. 30 at Jericho Beach Park. The championships are the final cross-country event that UVic runners will compete in this year.
November 30, 2013, VANCOUVER (ISN) – Second-year Trinity Western runner Joel De Schiffart (Nanaimo, B.C.) finished fourth overall in the junior men’s race at the Canadian National Cross Country Championships as he led a Spartans contingent that had four athletes finish in the top 20 of their respective races Saturday at Jericho Beach.

November 9, 2013, VICTORIA (ISN) – The University of Victoria Vikes men's cross-country team powered their way to their fourth-straight and 14th overall Canada West title, while also finishing sixth overall in the CIS. The CIS championship, hosted by Western University in London, Ont., saw the Guelph Gryphons capture the national title for a remarkable eigth-straight time.
